According to Odaily, Su Zhu recently commented on X about a notable shift in cryptocurrency investment patterns. He observed that funds flowing into Bitcoin through ETFs or MicroStrategy (MSTR) are not being redirected to Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies. This marks a departure from the 2020-2021 cycle, where there was frequent rotation between Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and altcoins, driven by the belief in profiting from such trends.
Zhu emphasized that unless more major players like Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, emerge, other tokens will need intrinsic catalysts to attract new investments. Simply claiming to be a 'superset' of Bitcoin, offering all its features and more, is insufficient to capture the attention of Bitcoin holders. To draw in funds, these holders must be convinced by certain narratives, and the underlying protocols must fulfill their intended designs.
