Spanish authorities have seized two cryptocurrency cold wallets containing approximately €400,000 during a crackdown on illegal comic distribution platforms. According to ChainCatcher, the operation was conducted by police in Almería, resulting in the arrest of three suspects and the dismantling of what is considered the largest Spanish-language pirated comic website in the country. The platform, operational since 2014, generated revenue primarily through advertising, amassing over €4 million in the past decade. Notably, the cold wallets were concealed within a wall thermometer. The police have not disclosed whether they have obtained the private keys or access to the funds.
