MetaCene Raises $10 Million in Series A Funding Round Led by Folius Ventures and SevenX Ventures

According to Foresight News, Web3 gaming platform MetaCene has successfully completed a $10 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Folius Ventures and SevenX Ventures, with participation from The Spartan Group, Mantle Network, Animoca Ventures, Longling Capital, Comma3 Ventures, and IGG. The funds raised will be used to expand the team and drive user acquisition plans. MetaCene presents a surreal post-apocalyptic society where survivors interact with various NFTs to redefine civilization. Prior to this, MetaCene had completed a $5 million seed funding round led by Hash Global and SevenX Ventures, with participation from WeMade, Emurgo, MixMarvel DAO Ventures, Sinovation Ventures, and LK Ventures.
