PG&E to Delay $2 Billion in Work After California Shelves Fire Bill

PG&E Corp. plans to defer about $2 billion of work next year as part of a strategic review of its businesses, according to Bloomberg. The move comes after the utility said a proposed revamp of California’s wildfire response did not do enough to protect PG&E and its peers from the cost of such disasters.
