Haru Invest CEO Attacked In Courtroom In Seoul

According to Foresight News, the CEO of South Korean virtual asset custody company Haru Invest was attacked in court on August 28. The incident occurred around 14:20 local time at the 15th Criminal Division of the Seoul Southern District Court, presided over by Chief Judge Yang Hwan-seung, during the eighth public hearing of the case. Reports indicate that a man in his 40s, who was seated in the courtroom gallery, suddenly stood up and repeatedly stabbed the CEO in the neck with a short knife approximately 5 centimeters long, which he had concealed in his clothing. The attack took place while the CEO was seated in the defendant's area.
