CZ to Donate All Proceeds From Freedom of Money to Nonprofits, Keeps Nothing From Book Sales

Speaking on The Wolf of All Streets Podcast, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said he is donating the entirety of proceeds from his memoir Freedom of Money to nonprofit organizations, retaining nothing from book sales. Priced at $9.99 on Amazon, CZ said he originally considered releasing the book as a free PDF but concluded that selling through Amazon and donating proceeds to charitable causes would be more impactful; the Amazon distribution model also enables physical copies. CZ said his post-prison focus includes advising country leaders on crypto regulatory frameworks — noting that all his personal assets are held in crypto, aligning his interests with the broader industry. He also cited Giggle Academy, his nonprofit education platform, as a source of personal satisfaction: the platform is reaching 240,000 students at no cost, operated by a team of approximately 50 people over roughly one and a half to two years.
