Tennessee Implements Statewide Ban on Crypto ATMs

Tennessee has enacted legislation prohibiting the operation of cryptocurrency ATMs across the state. According to NS3.AI, the law, which comes into effect on July 1, imposes penalties of up to one year in prison and a $2,500 fine for violations. This ban applies to both kiosk operators and businesses hosting these machines. Tennessee follows Indiana as the second U.S. state to implement a complete ban on crypto ATMs.
