Ocumension Bio-B Says OT-202 Phase III Trial Enrolls First Patient

Ocumension Therapeutics-B (01477) said its Phase III clinical trial of OT-202 for dry eye disease has enrolled its first patient, according to ETNet. The company said OT-202 is its in-house, first-in-class drug candidate for moderate to severe dry eye disease. It added that the Phase I trial completed in February 2023 showed good safety and tolerability in healthy adult volunteers, while the Phase II trial in mainland China completed enrollment of 213 patients in November 2023 and met its primary endpoint in March 2024.
