CoinGecko Moves Trust Score Security Ratings to Hacken's CORE3 Platform

CoinGecko said it has moved the cybersecurity component of its centralized exchange Trust Score from CER.live to Hacken's CORE3 risk infrastructure platform, covering 166 exchanges and using a framework that places more weight on forward-looking risk assessment. According to Odaily, CORE3 data shows that among the 193 exchanges it assessed, about 48% did not provide evidence of proof of reserves, penetration testing, or a bug bounty program, while only about 5.2% had all three measures in place. Users can view the updated cybersecurity ratings on CoinGecko and access CORE3's risk breakdowns and loss probability metrics covering security, solvency, and transparency.
