Huadian International Completes 1 Billion Yuan Tech Innovation Bond Sale

Huadian International said on September 2, 2026 that it has completed the issuance of its first 2026 publicly offered sci-tech innovation corporate bond for professional investors, raising 1 billion yuan for a three-year term at a coupon rate of 1.61%, according to Jiemian News. The bond has a face value of 100 yuan per unit and was sold on the Shanghai Stock Exchange through book-building and centralized allocation. Guangfa Securities, Huatai United Securities, Guotai Haitong Securities, China Merchants Securities, Industrial Securities and China Galaxy Securities acted as joint lead underwriters. After issuance costs, the proceeds will be used to repay interest-bearing debt, supplement working capital and fund project investment and operating expenses.
