According to Foresight News, Arbitrum has announced an upgrade to its bridge tool, allowing users to initiate cross-chain asset transfers directly within the application without needing to navigate to a separate bridge page. Developers can integrate the bridge functionality using a simple embed method, which supports wallet detection, path calculation, fee estimation, and transaction confirmation. The upgrade also introduces a fiat on-ramp channel via MoonPay and plans to expand more entry points to facilitate new users entering the Arbitrum ecosystem. The bridge routing is provided by Li.Fi, utilizing infrastructure from Across Protocol, Relay, Gas.zip, CCTP, and LayerZero to optimize fees, speed, and reliability for users.Currently, platforms like Camelot and ApeChain have already integrated this functionality. Arbitrum has stated that it will expand support for more chains and tokens in the future, open permissionless cross-chain exchanges, and offer more comprehensive developer customization options.
