Hut 8: J Capital Research is a bunch of biased activists

Bitcoin miner Hut 8 Corp., whose shares fell 23% this week on an unconfirmed report from short-selling firm J Capital Research, responded to Hut 8’s statement, saying: “Hut 8 Corp is aware that J Capital Research Capital Research released a short-selling report, and J Capital Research, which describes itself as a group of biased activists, clearly disclosed that it would profit if the Hut 8 company's stock price fell." Hut 8 did not directly mention this part of the report, but responded said its board of directors is “confident in the merger with U.S. Bitcoin Corp (USBTC),” adding that the board is confident in the company’s balance sheet and future success. Hut 8 did not mention any other points in the J Capital report, but said it is reviewing the article and will provide more information in the future as needed. (Globenewswire)
