Resolv Labs has released an update regarding the reduction of illegally minted USR supply. According to Foresight News, approximately 46 million USR, or 57% of the 80 million USR illegally minted during the attack on March 22, 2026, have been permanently removed from circulation through destruction and blacklisting. As a result, no illegally minted assets remain in the attacker's associated addresses for further transfer or exchange.
Several measures were implemented to reduce the 80 million illegally minted USR. On March 22, around 9 million USR were destroyed through two transactions. Additionally, approximately 36 million USR held in the attacker's associated wallet in the form of wstUSR have been blacklisted. This was achieved through an upgrade to the wstUSR contract, which required a 72-hour time lock due to contract-level restrictions. The remaining USR held by the attacker has also been destroyed.
