Waymo Nears First Debt Financing of More Than $3 Billion

Alphabet-owned autonomous driving company Waymo has entered the final stage of its first debt financing and is planning to raise more than $3 billion, with Pimco, Blackstone and Sixth Street Partners among the participating investors, according to Jiemian News. The loan is expected to be unrated, and pricing may be more than 500 basis points above the benchmark rate, though the terms could still change.
