According to Odaily, the Washington Post, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has experienced a significant backlash after deciding not to endorse the Democratic presidential candidate. Over 200,000 digital subscriptions have been canceled following this announcement. Previously, two informed sources revealed that the editorial team had drafted a statement supporting Democratic candidate Harris, but it was never published. Four other sources indicated that Bezos himself made the decision to withhold the endorsement. The newspaper has almost consistently endorsed Democratic candidates for nearly 30 years.
