According to Foresight News, Bitwise, a crypto asset management firm, has introduced a Solana staking exchange-traded product (ETP) in Europe, with the ticker symbol BSOL. Marinade, a Solana staking company, will serve as Bitwise's staking service provider. This development comes less than a month after Bitwise announced plans to list a Solana ETF in the United States by registering a statutory trust in Delaware.
The BSOL ETP offers investors an annual yield of 6.48%, while charging an annual fee of 0.85%. This move is part of Bitwise's broader strategy to expand its offerings in the crypto asset management space, particularly focusing on innovative products that cater to the growing interest in staking and decentralized finance. The introduction of the Solana staking ETP in Europe marks a significant step for Bitwise as it seeks to capitalize on the increasing demand for crypto investment products that provide both yield and exposure to emerging blockchain technologies.
