According to BlockBeats, Tether's top executives, including CFO Giancarlo Devasini, CEO Paolo Ardoino, and COO Claudia Lagorio, are reportedly purchasing significant real estate assets. Local media El Faro reported that property deeds have been collected, confirming these acquisitions.
On July 31, 2024, it was revealed that Ardoino and Lagorio acquired two plots of land valued at $1.7 million within the luxurious Condominio Villanueva Golf Country Club, which is part of the El Encanto residential area. The property deeds indicate that both Ardoino and Lagorio have obtained citizenship in El Salvador.
Additionally, Devasini, along with Bitcoin-focused artist Valentina Picozz, purchased a house on Tecana Street in San Salvador for $2 million. The ownership of this property is equally shared between Devasini and Picozz. While Picozz is registered as a Salvadoran citizen, Devasini is listed as an Italian national.
