According to Wallstreetcn, at the New York close on Monday, August 31, the Bloomberg Grains Index fell 0.29% to 35.3385, rising 13.72% in August after holding around the 31-point level from August 3 to 11 and forming an intra-month bottom before continuing higher. CBOT corn futures rose 15.84% to $5.3750 per bushel, CBOT wheat futures rose 18.49% to $7.7525 per bushel, and CBOT soybean futures rose 8.44% to $12.8775 per bushel; soybean meal futures rose 7.55% and soybean oil futures rose 6.81%. CBOT lean hog futures fell 1.38%, live cattle futures fell 6.62%, and feeder cattle futures fell 5.58%.
