According to BlockBeats, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino recently emphasized the unique advantages of AI-based roles, particularly in film production, aligning with Tether's vision of innovation and efficiency. Ardoino noted that AI is a significant focus area for Tether, urging organizations to adapt to this evolving reality in their hiring practices. However, he did not disclose further details about the final product.
Tether has maintained a lean staffing approach, hiring 30 employees in recent months dedicated to designing and building its AI platform. The company plans to recruit filmmakers in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia, with a goal to double its workforce to 200 by mid-2025.
In an interview last December, Ardoino projected that Tether could achieve over $10 billion in profits by the end of 2024, although the company does not release audited financial results.
Previously, Ardoino announced on the X platform that he would speak at Italy's AI Week in May, discussing Tether's AI strategy centered on financial freedom, open-source, peer-to-peer technology, and privacy protection. He intends to reveal the current state of disruptive technologies such as AI, robotics, and brain-computer interfaces, and explore future scenarios that may be obscured by 'good intentions.'
