Fantom ecosystem GNUS.ai was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $1.27 million

According to Beosin monitoring, Fantom ecosystem project GNUS was hacked and lost about $1.27 million. The attacker attempted to mix the stolen funds and send them to OKX. GNUS.ai previously posted on the X platform that due to recent vulnerabilities, hackers can mint counterfeit GNUS tokens on Fantom, transfer them to Ethereum and Polygon chains through Axelar Bridge, and sell them to existing liquidity pools. The team will take a snapshot at the block height before the attack. To ensure fairness, please do not buy GNUS tokens after the attack, as the team will issue new tokens.
