Grayscale Files For Ethereum Premium Income ETF

According to Odaily, Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas shared on the X platform that Grayscale has filed an application for an Ethereum Premium Income Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF). The fund, named "Grayscale Ethereum Premium Income ETF," has not yet disclosed its trading code or fee information. It is expected to become effective on April 9, 2025. The ETF aims to create synthetic positions based on Grayscale's existing Ethereum ETFs, including the Grayscale Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHE) and the Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust Fund (ETH). It plans to generate 'income' from premiums using a covered call strategy.
