China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao recently met with the president and CEO of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, along with executives from multinational pharmaceutical companies including Novartis, AstraZeneca, Roche, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Organon. According to Jin10, the discussions focused on the development and concerns of foreign pharmaceutical enterprises operating in China.
Wang highlighted that a recent round of dialogue between Chinese and U.S. trade teams resulted in new agreements, emphasizing the mutual benefits of China-U.S. economic and trade relations. He noted that a stable, healthy, and sustainable economic relationship between the two countries would provide multinational companies with a stable outlook for their operations in China.
